In this video, we look at AI agents through everyday work – research, product, marketing and simple day‑to‑day tasks and ask where they truly help and where they just add noise.

We start with a clear definition of AI agents in normal language – tools that can take in a goal, break it into steps and use other tools on your behalf not just “smart chatbots with vibes.” Then we show what people are really using them for right now: helping with repeated tasks, following multi‑step instructions and connecting different apps, instead of the fantasy of one agent “running your whole life.”

From there, we move into business research: using agents to scan markets, find competitors, understand customers and spot patterns you’d usually miss until much later. We talk about which parts of research are safe to hand over to an agent, and which parts still need your own judgement so you don’t act on bad or shallow information.

Next is product: using agents to shape ideas, collect feedback, draft specs, organise backlogs and keep projects moving, even if you can’t write a single line of code. We focus on how non‑technical founders, students and operators can use agents to ship better products faster, without pretending the AI is magically “doing the whole job.”

Then marketing: agents that help you plan content, test different angles, repurpose clips across platforms and research for leads. We also talk about the point where more automation starts to water down your voice and how to keep your taste, story and point‑of‑view at the centre of your brand.

Finally, we get honest about the pitfalls: confident wrong answers, broken setups, privacy risks, hidden costs and the trap of letting agents think for you instead of just helping with the work. By the end, you’ll have a practical sense of where AI agents can realistically 2–10x your output, and where a simple, well‑designed manual workflow is still the smarter move.

If this helped you rethink your career strategy, subscribe for more honest conversations on work and tech in the age of AI.

Edited By Duru Christopher - www.x.com/duru_0x

Follow us on X:
Afolabi - www.x.com/sokeyea
Divine - www.x.com/divineerho

If you’re not “technical” but you’ve tried AI tools, what’s one part of your work you’d most like to turn into an AI‑assisted workflow this year?","https://i.ytimg.com/vi/M976J4w9xP4/hqdefault_live.jpg","https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M976J4w9xP4",null,"2026-07-31T19:26:17+00:00","youtube","@afolabianddivine","Afolabi & Divine",0]
